Quick history

Market Equipment Co. was founded in 1964 by Roger Schnell. In 1976 his oldest son Dan joined the company and the next year his other son, Mike started. Roger retired in 1988 and Dan and Mike took over the company. We have grown to a company of approximately 50 employees, many of whom have over 20 years of service. Two of those employees, Don Hiller (started in 1977) and Norval Luth (1986) entered into a long term agreement at the start of 2007 to purchase the company.

Our capabilities

Market Equipment Co. is a full service refrigeration company. We have the capability to design the refrigeration system, sell the equipment, perform installations, sell parts, and provide service for both refrigeration and bakery/deli departments. 

Dealer and customer relationships

We have been a Tyler (http://www.tylerrefrigeration.com ) dealer since inception. We also have an electrical department. We work with most of the local grocery stores and major chains in the Inland Northwest.
